This reddish animal is very rare and precious. People call it the lesser panda. H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III created this painting using freehand brushwork. The essence of the appeal of this painting lies with the coloring of the lesser panda. The natural-looking tail-rings and spots of the lesser panda convey an attractive sense of beauty. There is also the small drooping willow with its round leaves. It was made using a calligraphic method that is applied in Chinese paintings. That technique was applied in a very skillful and seasoned way.
